I started this project by completing all of the inside images. As you can see, I get a little messy when I draw.
A close-up of my charcoal-covered hand.
This is a spread of all of the interiors on my bulletin board. I like to keep them up after I'm finished for inspiration.
I created the cover image in layers. First, I drew a black and white version of the flyers.
Next, I drew a field of color that will span the entire cover.
I scanned the black and white image into the computer and darkened the shadows.
Next, I typeset all of the words for the flyers.
This is the final image once I added the color layer.
